Talking about Tygon hoses. I have just totally gone through a Jonsered 51, and the fuel line in the tank was bad so I put a new thin walled Tygon in there. The upper fuel line looked good. Just a little bit stiff. But I put a new Tygon there also. Just to be sure. On the second test of the saw that Tygon had split in two, right across the middle! And it was full of small crack-lines all along the length. I am puzzled at what happened there. Put the original hose back in. 50 years old and still working fine.

Those governors are probably a really good idea for people who don't have the patience to change their tune based on the tempurature and don't check for good four stroke throughout the day. I have two 925s one that came with a factory governor and one that did not. I took a punched out piece of gasket paper and blocked off the governor so it tunes how I'm used to now but just personal preference I guess

Leon I have the same saw starts and runs then dies after a few seconds do you think it’s the tank vent ? If so where is it located? Thanks in advance friend
