Love the first one, but the family are even more amazing. As a child, (9 yrs) I sang the first verse of Once in Royal David's City. Unaccompanied. In a British Forces church in Germany. I was leading the procession of various vicars followed by the combined adult choirs of various churches. Second verse, they all joined in. So I promptly fainted. Mum couldn't help, as she was playing the organ. Dad was on QRA. Station Commander picked me and carried me through to the back room. I came round to the feeling of a soaking wet face and choir robe, with he and his wfe tapping my cheeks saying "YOU'VE GOT TO BE THE PAGE IN WENCESLAS!!!!" I did it. And I did it well. The show must go on. ❤❤❤❤

Hi again Marc. Since I’m not a TikTok person, I really enjoy you bringing these artists to your channel. This challenge is something new for me. Your picks were all quite wonderful to watch. All of them deserve the recognition you have given them. Three stood out to me, and they are ones you also commented on…1) the young lady with the bagpipes (I lived in the UK earlier in my life and always loved them), 2) young Philadelphia Eagles fan (the mashup was great), 3) the family of six (better harmonies than The Osmonds). Great video. Be Safe and Be Blessed.

Clash harmonies are usually caused by 2nd or 7th harmonies. They are not caused by singing the same note. When people sing the same note it's called unison, and does not create a clash.
@MarcDanielPatrick2 жыл бұрын
Yup, they're in unison with each other, but its overpowering the melody and creating too much dissonance. (IMO) You forget there are three parts being sung by that point.
@robertofont60693 жыл бұрын
Again, much talent out there. My ear is enjoying the layering of one voice upon another. The harmonies are generally clean and tight. Again, when I view these Til Tok videos, you are the star. I can listen and watch your reactions. It’s a treat for me.
@codmanout98612 жыл бұрын
The best versions of these, in my opinion, are when multiple people are used. Though doing it solo does demonstrate an impressive range of vocal ability, it just sounds so much better with multiple separate voices blending together

OOOOMMMGGGGG the bagpipes gave me goosebumps!!!!! I'm one of those people that gets goosebumps all over my legs, arms, almost everywhere, when I listen to really really good music. Example: Barber's Adagio for Strings, the whole thing gives me goosebumps but that one part about 6 minutes in, that one part that builds and builds up and louder, that really gets me. But. So far in my 52 years of life, Adagio for Strings is the Only song I've listened to that gives me goosebumps also on my scalp. I think it's called Musical Frisson? Anywho, I was raised by a 6 fingered piano player who also sang in choirs, my mom. She is missing four fingers on her left hand, a birth defect created at the cells dividing stage. She always used Peanuts songs to warm up. I miss her playing and singing. She gave me the love of all kinds of music. I don't play anything or sing, but I listen, sometimes on repeat.
@redfive20087 ай бұрын
The video game Homeworld from 1999 has a version of Adagio that is entirely vocal, sung by Quire of Voyces. I find that I can't listen to orchestral versions because the choral version is so much better, such dynamic range. You can find it on KZbin.

CIMORELLI 👏
@leahyo24513 жыл бұрын
Lol, I’m highly offended that you missed or just didn’t appreciate the magical “sky” notes from Cimorelli. They’re not signing the same note off key. They are intentionally harmonizing only one whole step (maybe one half step) away from each other on this scale, which can be extremely difficult to find while you’re singing. And it creates such a cool sound! Especially how they use it on the word “sky”, makes it sound other-worldly. 🤩

@@imnotoriousnate While the “lol” is quite flexible and can be used in many different contexts to provide many different ambience (hilarity, sarcasm, pity, respect, fear, discomfort, etc) to the subsequent text… I will admit that my original “Lol” was intended to create an ambience something like, “what a fucking idiot music reaction”. It was embarrassing that he missed it. So touché, I reckon.
