I have made six boxed corner pouches with exposed seams and you have to finish them up either by zig-zag or on the serger. THAT pattern is going in my trash bin. YOUR method is wonderful! Thank you so much for this great tutorial. I am so pleased to have found you Marcela!

Great video. I have watched several videos about box pouch sewing, because my simple un-lined and un-interfaced pouch for work needs an upgrade. Your tutorial seems to be the easiest to understand and to accomplish on your own. But I am still going to make 1 or 2 prototypes to get my desired proportions right and for practicing purposes.

Also, with a few adjustments (fabric, print, zipper color/style) I think even the men in my life would appreciate a gift like this. (I'm thinking olive canvas, black chunky zipper, some elastic inside... A dopp kit bag!)

Thank you 😊😊😊. Yes, you can make it larger, just add as much as you want to the length and width of the fabric. You might have to make the bottom bigger as well to keep the proportions. Practice with a piece of scrap fabric, as if it were the lining. Happy sewing 😊
