Our first war within melee tier list about fun is here and boy is this subjective! Once again, this is not about the war within dps meta, it has nothing to do with performance, it has all to do with rotations, fantasy, build diversity and general feel!
Every spec will be augmented with pro’s and con’s and it will be based on the huge amount of testing with did on the beta. War within melee dps rankings ? Yes, based on fun!

@@MarcelianOnline yeah your tier lists always feel well thought out and researched like you’ve really played all these specs. I appreciate the format too with the tierlist website in the corner and gameplay footage as the main focus. It feels like that extra bit of effort and it just adds more to the video. I honestly get kind of bored seeing other people make tier lists and it’s just a recording of the tier list website. Honestly it’s also the biggest reason I subbed. You guys do a stellar job and I just appreciate the content coming out so often because it keeps me up to date. Also being able to compare survival to bm and marks when you do the ranger tier lists is very helpful. Edit: omg I wasn’t subbed my bad I thought I was. Anyway how I am whoops. You guys rock.

they have announced what they want with breath and addressed it they like breath of sindragosa however they dont like the way it works currently their goal is to have it last 30-40 seconds all the time and tune the build for that so that you can min max it without encouraging the dgen behavior

Why not for feral a cd when you go bear for big damage or a bigger cat form etc like we used to have the armoured cat forms or saying it warlords when we could turn into the 2 legged cat form

Sometimes I think Blizzard is looking to much at warrior specs individually instead of the class as a whole. Warrior already has a GCD locked spec with Fury (that is really fun to play) but Arms is for the people who like the slow APM Hard hitting spells. Take some inspiration from the reactions in play style of arms in the current CATA classic and legion styles. It feels good to optimize few and big impact spells. Big MS and whirlwinds with heroic strike and cleave to optimize your rage management.

As a surv main that started in SL, I never knew anything better, then I started playing frost dk (boy can I really pick them huh lmao), then boomie, but at long last, surv on top of any tier list, I can't wait to use that new coord assault with other tree restructuring (as it needed a tree restructure literally all of DF, ST and AoE nodes on the wrong sides). I'm not even mad about that mongoose fury change being reverted, because as changed it was entirely too op and knew it was going to mean nerfs elsewhere once it started blowing past other specs in ST, it already was fine, a surv is only spamming mongoose bite in single target, so really don't need to use other things within that 15 sec buff, save for the odd serp sting or bomb. What would you say Flame is the goto hero subspec for surv for war within based off your playing?

Unholy does have a non-diseases playstyle, and I usually out DPS the diseases with it. It's a wounds build, which is a lot more fun, and can ramp up in damage to above practically anything else.

Unholy will always play abomination when using Rider of the Apocalypse because of the cool down, they will always be able to have the 4 horsemen out a lot quicker than they would verse a 3 minute Army

The KC weaving on SV is the reason it's S tier. Everything feels so good. They just need to tweak the hero tallents a little more and it would be perfect... the only BIG exception is they still need to fix Mongoose Fury. Both version of it that have been on the beta (the original, the rework and then reverted back to the original) have been terrible. But you can entirely ignore it in AOE and mostly ignore it in ST so, eh. Overall, great time to be an SV main.

Obviously this is all subjective, but putting sub and outlaw above Assa rogue is wild, considering assa has the best spec tree of the 3. Maybe hero talents play more of a roll than im assuming

Big agree about Arms, I played it all throughout DF and despite its problems, it was a ton of fun throughout. Playing it on the beta is just depressing, the spec already wasn't hard and they dumbed it down even more. It is just so mind numbingly boring now, I'm jumping ship to a hunter or mage.

I’d swap Fury and Ret. Ret is a great spec in terms of utility and damage, but I think it’s boring to play, whereas Fury, especially in WW, is a blast. The rogue specs all need to be reworked as the average WoW player isn’t going to bother with the complex keybinds needed to play them, including outlaw. Just swapping from ST to AOE as a rogue can significantly change keybinds in a way that no other class or spec experiences because of stealth skills. I like Outlaw and Assassination, but whenever I play them I mourn for any new player who rolled it first because they’re not going to have a good time. I think Feral should be A Tier and it is a fun and refined spec.

Seriously not having played the beta is hard to make up my mind. I like plate class however everyone seem to agree that warrior is kind of boring and ret is super fun. However DK some say is shit some say is fun. I'll probably start with Ret if anything just come I worked a lot to unlock all corrupted ashbrringer tints.

I've been an Arms player since vanilla and this is the first expansion where I might actually switch mains. The hero talents are an absolute snorefest and barely do anything to change much of the gameplay that has so desperately needed change for a long time.

Shaman had been my main for most of my WoW playing career, but I finally gave up on it due to no love from the devs. Elemental can be fun, but it's way to complicated. Resto is good, but it never seems to be meta or strong. Enhancement is the funniest of the three, but it seems to always underperform. Why the heck didn't they just make Flurry baseline as well? That would free up a point for more damage or utility.

The last time Enhsham was really fun was in wod , I don't like having to use elem abilities , it's not a melee spec it's weird caster spec I Don't like it that much , is it fun ? meh , Is it good ? meh , is it a weird version of Elem ? yes . Would love to say Monk... but if u play it in the beta, it feels awful outside of cds and procs... esp shadopan feels like the worst hero talent right now.. the sync is so off.. the tracking and playing around feels so bad... but in generell, ur starve energy so hard... even if u take all chi generator und energy talents... u starve and stay there with nothing to press... and there is veraity to choose talents other than those, cause its not playable... fells very bad. Eigher reduce the cost of tigerpalm by 10-15 or double the energy gain...

U were too kind with ENH. Sure stormbringer is good but would benefit a lot from flurry, which they hide behind a talent that build doesnt need. And totemic is just messed up. Also, dont u think stormbringer spending strategy hurts doom winds as a cd?

I dont get the defile complain, the swirlys animation are over the defile animation, the thing that covers the swirlys animations is abominations limb not defile...
