Marcelinho is truly an amazing talent, but more amazing is the fact he never had any vocal training. He is self taught. Was an orphan at the age of seven raising himself on the street. He is one of the most kind, humble, caring human beings. He always gives God the glory and he is always supporting the less fortunate with his charity events. Thank you for your great reaction. Yes...Marcelito IS THE REAL DEAL. Check out his life story;it is worthy of a movie. I had the great privilege of meeting and watching him live in concert in June of 2019 in Toronto. Watching him live was like an out of body experience. The videos DO NOT do his voice any justice. Proud to be Filipino. Cheers from Toronto. From his biggest FAN in Canada.

He manages both parts, neither in his primary language, and does the opera part really well. Sure there were a few missed notes, but who cares because nobody else can even come close to this performance. The best part of your reaction is you were obviously familiar with the original version and liked that. I was not until after hearing Marcelito which meant I had the treat of being introduced to that as well.

I like ur reaction very genuine. Am not a vocal coach but it’s takes a lot for me to like any voice. Marcelito’s voice is so smooth and clean. I try to find a break or a speck of dust in his voice I can’t find it. His voice is full of steam n energy. I listen to his music. He has not gone to the edge. He says he can play with 5 voices. He is tough to beat. Listen also to him sing “ Despacito”

My small two cents worth. Honestly, I've got stuck on this song, Marcelito on the Wish bus, and have gotten into a thing of watching the multitude of reaction videos. I'm sure I have listened to this singular version of this song, over a year and more, more than any other individual song recording. Ever. Yeah, probably extreme, but the absolute purity of the tone, and sublime emotion... after countless times hearing it, I still get those chills down the arms, and misty eyes. Anyway, I've watched many singers and many voice coaches, etc., etc, do their reactions, and I really enjoyed the unpretentious, 'realness' I got from you. This was a favorite. I did sub.

Have you ever listened to Pentatonix? Most reactors start with Hallelujah, then onto Sound of Silence. Of course, they also listen to Bohemian Rhapsody, 90's Dance Medley and so many others. You won't believe this a Capella group. Remember no instruments. Let's see if you'll become a Pentaholic like many of us. Here's Hallelujah. They are Scott (blond guy), Avi, (bearded one - bass and when he sings his solo part, Scott takes over the bass), then Kirsty who like the others, has a very wide vocal range, then Mitch (the one in the funny hat), then Kevin (beatboxer, cello player, singer, pre-med school, knows multiple languages, etc). Mitch and Kirsty like to change their looks in every video, so most people always ask who is the new guy .. it's Mitch. BTW, Scott, Mitch and Kirsty have been together since middle school and Avi and Kevin joined them before they entered a Sing Off Contest. They won of course. Avi left amicably due to family reason and was replaced by Matt (which you will see in Sound of Silence. Let's see if you go down that rabbit hole with many of us.
