One out of maybe 100 teachers is like him, standing next to the student, checking his posture, letting the student feeling how the teacher engages the support by letting the student's hand on his 'fat' belly for the student's better copying, and demonstrate for the student with 'full voice', not with pathetic marking. God bless him...

Doesn't sound like a tenor to me. I would check out some baritone literature. Struggling too much on this song. Nothing to do with how heavy his voice is. It's heavy because he's singing the wrong FACH IMO.
