You have to spend the time to mourn this change. You don't get to choose when it gets easier. Your feeling state will change when enough time has passed. Don't second guess your feelings. No amount of self care can improve the situation. Do your best to stay productive at work and that is it. The rest of the time do not feel pressure to do or be anything.
