Robocop holds up very very well. Conal Cochrane is the villain in Robocop 2.

Ahhh don't remember watching a sequel, but I might have, it's a blur!

William Kotzwinkle also wrote ET The Green Planet. If Dr Rat is half as bonkers you're in for a treat.

I have a feeling that 'Suedehead' was the inspiration for the eponymous Morrissey song. Sounds plausible, if you ask me.

Hmmm, Morrissey's written a book too hasn't he!

@@bertsbooks2505 He has. His first, 'Autobiography' is warm, funny, poignant and utterly charming. Yes, he is scathing about certain legal proceedings that were bought against him, but he presents his case well. Apparently, his second book is all but unreadable. Shame, that.

@@griefjunkie Yeah, the unreadable one is the one I'm curious about!

One of the characters in Suedehead, 'John Matson' is blatantly modelled on real life Soho dirty bookshop kingpin John Mason, right down Mason's carpentry background and 'God' nickname. Moffatt pretty much used Mason's real name as well, only adding a 'T' to the surname to cover his tracks.
