How many times do you need to false cast..... Lift the line out 1 false cast then land line 3 movements

Hi - cut the genetic hackle in a V on the underside of the fly to remove hackles pointing directly downwards- leave the partridge hackle. Add a small rop of Ghink to the entire underside of the fly. This should make the fly sit and behave perfectly. Regards Jon.

Hi Jon just to clarify the situation about flotation. Do you ghink both the partridge hackle and the dun or just the latter. I ask because I know you said that you usually trim the dun hackle flush and I was wondering whether doing so affected the balance of the fly? Any addendum to your original advice would be much appreciated. I have really enjoyed this latest trilogy by the way. regards.

No offense to you, but if you're going to do an instructional video, you should know what mending is. You miss a lot of fish by having a poor presentation. I wouldn't post videos of doing something incorrectly because lots of people watch these videos to learn.
