Amazing how the simplest of nymphs are the best catchers. Like this h.e. and the first fly I think everybody learns to tie: the p.t. ofcourse. With or without legs. Heavy to light, and even floating. All sizes and in all colors you can think of, they are great.

I make them by dozens. Now that my health is on track I can get out more since I missed 1 year going to heart doctor. Great presentation thanks for sharing keep those hands busy tying hehehe :)

Thanks got checking it out. You can certainly use mono for the rib. Sorry to hear about your wife. It is a danvise, but a new one is on the horizon! I think the mark may just be glue/head cement. Thanks for tunning in!

Very nice, great technique with the legs. A little helpful hint, coat your turkey segment with sally Hanson hard as nails first and let dry. This makes them very durable yet manageable. Great video!!!!!

Chas, thanks for checking it out! I've used sally hansons in the past, but the last year or so I've been spraying an entire feather with hairspray. Really durable while still flexible and dries fast. Again I appreciate you tuning in to the channel. Cheers!

add a cone head on it and I think you'd have one heck of a combo with shine and dull to really attract them hungry trout

Thanks for the great video! If I don’t have any Hungarian partridge what’s another good option for tying the legs?

Nice fly, I don't have any tippet, is it the same as monofilament? I do have that. I have that never fished a fly yet on a fly rod. I am sure I told you about my wife's sickness. I am at home with her all of the time. I tie when she is sleeping Hey what happened to the tip of your vise? It looks like it chipped, or melted or something like that. Is that a Danvise? I had one too. Bought a norvise, and am loving it. Dubbing brushes, Dubbing in a flash Great value! . All the best, Sean
