I always fish barbless just some styles of hooks only come barbed, like the Daiichi 1730 bent shank hook. Barbless makes you a better angler and the hooks come out of the fish and humans easier.

Been my experiance is Impressionistic out fishes realistic every time. Went thru the carbon copy theory of fly tieing for years.
