Haven't watched it, they don't gloss over it? From this clip when they return, Senshi's expression was as if coming to terms that Chillchuck is his own grown man and at least stop patronizing him. If anything Senshi would be relatively younger both in lifespan and culture, as he lost contact with his party and people and is a loner since the disaster while Chilchuck is likely to be a grandpa soon and cash his 401k. Senshi will be walking around with Chillchuck The Third by the time he's able to start over and achieve a third of his life milestones. He also has to literally digest what comes after this.
