I don't know the price there in Boracay, hope someone from Boracay will give you an explanation about it. Filipinos are so friendly but some filipinos are taking advantage of foreigners, even locals cos I’ve experienced it.

Yup, you get money hungry people you have to watch out for that spoils the adventure. You get skin and tourist taxed. However, it's still way cheaper than Waikiki. $700 a night for a regular room during summer.

I’ve been to Boracay and the place is too commercialized. You can go to so many islands like in Bantayan island, Siargao, Bohol, sequijor and you will not break your bank and beaches is as beautiful or better than Boracay. Boracay too expensive and too messy. Everyone there wants your money.
