I played this back in 97 as well. Was a 7 year old kid so it was bought for me but I played it to death. I hadn't thought about it for 25 years and it popped into my head a few days ago and I couldn't remember what it was called. Googled "activision time game 90s" cos all I could remember was it was Time something and the old Activision logo at startup. I remembered it being an amazing game and it still looks very good for how old it is. it has aged well. Gonna sit through this playthrough and enjoy it.

I used to play this game back in the late 90's when I was still a kid... Actually, I was quite good at it and I was able to find every single hidden room in every level of the game excepting two rooms of The Conquistadors: I failed to find the boat "room" of the Spanish ship level and I also failed to find the very first jungle room of the aztec level. Thanks to you, now I know where they were!

Love ❤️ this game. Played it all the way through on my Dad’s PC. Wasn’t able to locate all secrets but I tried to collect as many items as possible. I would definitely say this game was rather high tech for the time. It was the dawn era of games becoming more complex with triangle polygons, camera angles and environmental type physics incorporated into the game to make it more realistic and smooth.

if this game would ever get a remake, I'd imagine that weapons from the previous era will be kept when moving onto the next one. BUT, they would quickly get outclassed by even the first weapon that one would get in the next era. Like, when moving on from Japanese Middle Age, to European Middle Age, even the Mace-'n-chain would make pretty much any weapon from the previous era obsolete. (such as that the current era weapons would "out-dps" the old ones. OR, that they somehow deal less damage than usual.)

@ProjectDetonado Жыл бұрын
Nope, this is not the PS1 version. What is happening is when the game was released in the U.S., Activision asked the developer to add narration. The version without it is the European version, which is the version that is now sold on digital stores (GOG, Steam).
@WELLbethere Жыл бұрын
@@ProjectDetonadoWhich is why I'm saying something is weird. I own the steam version, and it does not have this intro, it has the original one I remember. More than that, I cannot find any video online of a pc version that uses the narrated intro besides yours. Okay, what I meant was that the Steam/GOG version doesn't have narration. The music is different because I changed it (using the setup from the game) to Sound Blaster 16, as that's how I played it in my childhood. If you compare it to the music of the actual PS1 version, you'll see that the music still doesn't sound the same: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5TNYpitgbh3b7ssi=IaQCTxlVdTommH-b&t=294
