I saw that PB of 49.3 and thought it was an excellent time, so I checked the Olympic qualifying standards, and it is insane what they are requiring to qualify for the Olympics (48.58) which usually has been enough to make the semifinals in previous Olympic games. Keep it up, Marcos, such an inspiration.

Don't worry, practice always shows in the pool. The water takes and the water gives indiscriminately, one of the reasons I love swimming. As long as you have fun with the water, and give it all to the water, the water will give back.

I probably have no property in anything regarding swimming competitions, but one thing I can advise you is to take care of your sleep, because even though you work too hard, your body is not going to be able to recover and you probably will make more progress taking rest than working hard.
