Great video, your tips and tricks for KZbin are always awesome. I say that because growing your channel from scratch is never about luck. You just have to be ready to get popular as fast as possible. Trends are always the same, just give people some fun and knowledge in your content, and you are good to go. Of course, it can be tough to get to that point when you are noticed enough (that's why I am using a little bit of Famester for every video I post).

I actively started my channel in May. Since then I have added around 2000 subscriptions. I would say it's going pretty well. This is the first time I've heard about the hashtags, that you can add up to 60 hashtags. For German tutorials they recommend around 5 hashtags. That's quite a big difference.

Great video Marcus, thanks. When implementing your advice, I noticed a difference around hashtag visibility. As you mentioned, those hashtags will appear at the top, right from the views and upload date. But accidentally I find out that when a podcast playlist is used, those hashtags are replaced with the link to the podcast playlist. I have been on youtube since 2008. I have made 10k subs after 8 years. I have now a lots of channels which one of the them is my main income that has over 150k subs. Key to success is ALWAYS create videos that you care about and NEVER STOP creating. NEVER! It doesn't matter what is it about you will eventually find out what works and what doesn't and by the time you will learn this you will find out that almost any topic, activity, niche, whatever you like is possible to create in a way that others will be hooked on. Trust me. But you have to keep grinding the shit out of it.10 000 hours is not a joke, it's essential!

As a small content creator, i tested multiple times the "TEST & COMPARE" functionality and it made my videos do less views and when i put only one, the views go up faster the moment i stop the "TEST & COMPARE" on the same video. And the fact im not a big youtuber the test takes SOOO much time so maybe thats why it affects the views. So for me im not using it anymore.

This is all great info; however, the description formatting suggestion only works for desktop browsing. My two main channels only get about 12% of their views from desktop. A video about formatting the title and description for TV, phone, tablet, etc. would be very helpful! Most of my views actually come from TV, where seeing the description requires actions that I doubt many people would make.

my advice to you, youtube pays most for ads/mid roll meaning mid video ads, if your music isnt 10 minutes long... which it isnt.... you wont make anything. Even though I have 3.5 million views, I only made a little over 6k in ad rev in 4 years... hope that helps. I make beats by the way

KZbin shouldnt be your Main income. But you can use it to funnel viewers into another higher Ticket product that you created.

@@Soundwave_music_official both of those are super easy to reach bro I did that within my first year of uploading beats and I was NOT good I was unique because I was 1/2 people pushing the new Florida drill sound but once you start the process you'll see how simple it is (music wise) BUT like I said before... doesn't pay much. and like he ^ said it shouldn't be your main source of income, more like a main source of PROMOTION. Once you learn the algorithm of youtube and you get on the suggestions pages and increase impressions its almost your choice whether or not you keep going up... as you've learned how to stay on top. Don't doubt yourself bro that's not a good place to start
