He was just 17 when he performed at the Christmas pre jam in Asheville. He had a baby face, but when he opened his mouth and started ripping on his guitar, he took my breath away! He is also an activist for mental health. He IS phenomenal 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

By searching is literally how I found a lot of artist I had no idea of. I just happen to tune into the TV show tonight show with Jimmy. I normally don’t watch just cause I’m sleeping or whatever and it was meant to be when I listened to Marcus King and that song Delilah oh my gosh I was like on it. He is awesome. He is so mellow humble, I’m looking forward to more of his music. I have listened to the Delilah song that he had played over and over and over and over and over 1 million times. He is definitely a wonderful musician writer artist I am so happy I watched that show that night 2024.❤

I remember seeing him playing at Norman’s guitar shop in a video in 2014 and I started following since then. I’ve seen this guy live 3 times. First time at Stubbs in Austin, then jazz fest in NOLA and the Aztec in San Antonio. About to see him again in Chicago. I feel proud to see him at this point knowing him since almost day one. I’ve been rooting for him since then. 🤘

It feels like you can tell when someone has mastered their instrument. I’m guessing this guy is classically trained or had people in his family teaching him to play from an early age. High level blues theory and timing throughout the song. This was awesome.
