Just saw him live at the Glasgow Barrowlands…possibly the best gig I’ve ever seen! At the tender age of 28 this guy is already a legend ❤️

Dude, thanks so much for being in the video and playing an affordable, real-life guitar. It's refreshing to see someone showcasing an Epiphone or other 'lower-tier' brands because, honestly, these guitars are amazing but so underrepresented on KZbin and in the media. It feels like everyone on here is playing a Gibson or an American Fender, but in real life, it's usually Mexican Fenders and Epiphones that most of us are using. I’m not knocking Gibsons or custom shop guitars-they're incredible instruments, no doubt. But realistically, those wouldn't be my first choice for gigs. I'd be too nervous about something happening to them! For the average player, it's guitars like Epiphones that strike the perfect balance between quality, affordability, and peace of mind.

“Take offence” ? I see it the other way around, what a compliment to have your work compared to so many great songs and artist. I’m not a Marty Schwartz fan but I think he’s intent here Is praise. Marcus is one of the most exciting artist currently walking the globe (imo) and he’s too young to have such depth in his song writing. People spend lifetimes to get to where he is at musically so I understand why he’s often compared to such timely classics. The guy performs the blues like he’s had a lifetime of pain and heartbreak yet still probably gets his ID checked walking into a bar

SUPER talented musician and bluesman as anybody with ears can hear. Best part of that video? DUCK the dog! He’s helping give Marcus the juju to stay sober so we can be lucky enough to keep him around for decades to come-there for a minute the future looked like a bleak cliche coming hard and fast. Go Marcus! VIVA LA VIDA! xo

I really like Marty, but he made it awkward, basically accusing Marcus of copying 2 or 3 artists. I think every artist is inspired by their heroes. But to me, this is a great Marcus King tune. Great interview but awkward beginning...
