Rashford needs to take a look at how Cantana handled himself after his infamous karate kick, he served his punishment, kept his head down, kept himself super fit and came back fighting for United he didn't spit his dummy, didn't do impromptu interviews just because he got left out of one match. Money and MBE'S have gone to his head, United need to get shut of him as soon as possible.

To go to the media so quickly when he was simply dropped for one game speaks volumes. He was desperate to control the narrative and willing to cut and run as soon as his persona and integrity was put to the public for scrutiny. I think it’s clear rashford has been part of the problem for a long long time.

Rashford’s ‘woe is me’ attitude is embarrassing. He failed to rise to Amorim’s challenge, ignored chances to show he cared, and even needed to be told to clap the away fans. He’s shown no respect for the club or fans, and his lack of fight and hunger makes you wonder if all the good he did off the pitch was just a smokescreen. He’s finished as a player, we deserve far better. I only hope there’s no truth in the rumour of his mate Pogba returning!

Rashford has proven, without doubt, that he's the chief orchestrator of the drama club. Anyone else would have reacted to the challenge by proving themselves as a footballer and done their talking on the pitch. Rashford's victimhood complex has compelled him to cry publicly and try to shift the responsibility away from himself. His actions, his attitude are indefensible and anyone making excuses for him is every much the idiot that Rashford is. He epitomises the problem that has plagued our club for a decade. The sooner he's gone the better.

Love this. The Paddock reaction was as if some tragedy had happened. It makes no sense. Just because you came through the academy and had 2 good seasons out of 9 doesn't entitle you to half-arse it forever more and act like a victim when criticised. Like you if I had the honour of playing for United you could give me one minute just to say I have played for United and after it you could shoot me and I would die happy!! This is supposed to be a Manchester lad who loves the club and he acts like this. He should have gone 2 years ago the season he hit 30 goals plus we should have sold him because that season was just a one off. I would never compare but I remember going to Rangers in 2004 when we played them in the Champions League and Beckhams Dad was sat (well stood) right next to me and I said to him all United are sad that your son has gone and he said to me " He is heartbroken he went into Fergie's office and said he will play for nothing" That is what you call a United legend a United fan and you get this sulking big I am doing this? He belongs with pogba lingard sancho the wannabe gangsta rappers look at Amad and his personality and his will to play for United. True heroes are players like DDG, Harry Maguire who were hounded by everyone but they fought back in the last 10 years. Previously it was Becks in 98, Ronaldo after The wazza sending off. Same with Darren Fletcher after his career threatening stomach issue. Same with Scholesys double vision issue. They fought back. Thats why they are true heroes for me personally. Ryan Giggs was supposed to go to Inter before that stunning goal against Juve because he was out of form and look at what he did for the next 11 years

Nothing against Marcus as a person as we don’t know him personally but he’s been stinking out the team performance every time he’s on the pitch and the fact he can’t see whats wrong shows how much his head has gone. Shame, but he has nobody to blame but himself. He knows what you have to give to play for Manchester United, he claims his idol was Wayne Rooney yet his level of commitment, desire, bravery and general quality on the pitch would make you think he never even watched Rooney in his life.
@WarmasAsunnedcat21 күн бұрын
A United fan since 1976 so I’ve seen the ups and downs. What upsets me about the modern player compared to players of the past is their attitude. Rashford has won at least 4 trophies yet you feel he’s let himself and the fans down. Yet players like the Greenhoff brothers, Macari, Albiston, whiteside, Bailey and many others who were stars of the 70s and 80s, only won the odd trophy. Yet no one would ever have questioned their commitment and attitude like they would players like Rashford! That’s why they get the stick they do and they deserve it. I imagine the money helps him get over the stick though.

Well done Tony. Sums up exactly what I think, and I'm not usually one to go in on a player like this, especially an academy graduate. Bad form is excusable, but lack of effort??... there is no excuse for that at all, especially when you're paid an absolute pisstake of a salary. Many still want to protect Rashford, but I've seen through him for quite a while.... Whenever anything is ever questioned about him you can just feel his PR team biting away at it, protecting his brand. And they've done it here when he was dropped from the squad.... they did it worh Belfast too.

What he does off the pitch is great. As fans we don’t pay for tickets and merch for a footballer to be a politician. We pay for a footballer to be a footballer. That’s the end of the discussion. This he needs love and he brought gifts. All due respect I don’t care that a man who’s gets 350k a week gives gifts to kids. I care what he does in a United shirt. I just spent £80 giving gifts to children who are not going to get one this Christmas. No one cares

Amorim has laid it out squarely to Rashford - either be part of the rebuild and stay, or be part of the problem and go. And by issuing a self-pitying reply Rashford has declined the challenge.
