This dropped in 2000 while he was still hot, but shit's prophetic about what would happen to his career. The lyric "y''all just wanna watch me rise, then watch me fall" is literally what happened to Ja. "Do you love me, do you hate me" could be interpreted as him asking the question of why the fans suddenly hate him after the 50 cent beef when they loved him before. He's asking how they really feel about him. Time travel exists, Ja went back in time to write this song about his later career.

Well I know all this must be old, but I guess ill still put my Input. Yes Ja Rule might not be the biggest lyrical rapper, but he knows how to make hits. That being said, yes he was out of line mentioning Ems daughter, but that has been left in the past. Dre has produced songs for Ja, Bustah Rhymes is over the beef and so is DmX....only one still left with a problem is 50, and well lets just say he felll I hear nothing good from him...

@bazza2706 i dont' think that drugs is a direct cause to great songs man, there's gotta be a lurking variable, maybe he had more of a motivation to rap before about his life

@codynator2000 ok so i see you just wanna call names out that's fine, views on youtube mean shit all, sales is what makes an artist, you can have 500 million views on youtube but if you only sell 1 mill copy's of ya record then those views dont mean shit...

@codynator2000 lmao oh im sorry that the truth hurts, dont beleive me look at his record sales from now-clean to before-drugged up and i never said anywhere i do not respect em forgiving the dope away, i have done the same myself, so i know more than most what drugs do to you my point was when he was on the drugs his lyrics seemed sick as, now they are just about his rehab-getting clean family etc, and to be honest me i dont wanna here that shit, you well thats your choice
@ZZTT9214 жыл бұрын
Why does he have so much beef with people??? I think he is pretty good, but 50 Cent, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes, DMX all hate him. is there more than that idk really know but that right there is already alot ha

@bazza2706 I agree, Eminem is trash now, his Recovery album put me to sleep and there wasn't a single good song on it.

PAC is the only ''Artist'', that rapped for a reason or purpose so for all I care the rest could be gunned down in the streets and I wouldn't pause for a second. For everybody else, its just money and fame. smmfh.(outside of DMX who never spoke Big or Pac name in any lines of his rapps which all of ya fav rappers guilty of. As Pac would say God bless the dead and im out
