Have a 7 speed DSG version, have owned 3 of these. One used with 27.000 on the clock that broke down the next day, dealership got me a brand new one but it had bad paint work 🤷🏼‍♂️finally got another brand new one from a different dealership but it’s been back 3 times for repairs, VW techs are hopeless. Had to wait 6 weeks for a replacement heat sensor. Another negative is that all 3 cars had unacceptable creaking noises in the cabin. Some cheap plastic parts probably to blame. Doesn’t feel premium or solid. Maybe I’ve just been very unlucky? Looking to part exchange after just 7 months for a huge loss. Can’t live with flimsy creaky unreliable cars. Such a shame, if these cars were more reliable and didn’t creak they would be fantastic. Very quick, love the interior and tartan seats. Red theme such as dials and GTI splash screen. Gear changes are very smooth and looks better than the Golf GTI in my opinion. Great LED lights and quite quiet on the motorway……. Oh fuck it… I’ll locate the squeak and keep it. Alternative hot hatches aren’t up to much. 😂😂😂

Bro, that's just a polo, cheapest car in VW lineup. If you want "premium feel" - get Passat at least

@@pupa-i1o I make you right! Currently looking for a new car! The GTI novelty has worn off. Too much cheap squeaky materials in these cars. Think I will avoid VW completely though. Since writing my post it’s been back in the dealership again, kept it for 5 days and said they had eliminated the noises… they hadn’t! Avoid VW POLO GTI’s way too expensive and cheaply made. All 3 I’ve owned were extremely squeaky and rattly.

@@pupa-i1o are you going for the GTI or another model? I think the non GTI Polos are much better when it comes to noise. If you’re going for one of those you should be ok. Seriously though! 3 polo GTI’s and all had unbearable interior rattles or squeaks. I’ve just been out for a drive and VW have just made the problem worse. I’ve decided to cut my losses and get rid of this car. Not even 10months old FFS!!! 🤦🏼‍♂️

Here in Brazil, we have the GTS Polo, with a 1.4 Turbo engine, very similar to this one, by the way, a pity this version did not come.
