My god. So many things in this video go well together. Besides the obvious Violin & Piano combo, you guys have practically the same repetoire and improv ability. You both seem to have fairly similar playstyles, so even if you guys are taking requests, you guys seem to naturally accompany one another. I also noticed, whether or not it was intentional, that your outfits match the instrument you're playing. And dude, even the way Marcus' room is lit up just made the mood 10 times better. This is just perfect man - what a great collab.

Unbelievable. When he set off with bohemian rhapsody - it takes real talent to imbue music with passion that you can feel - Freddie Mercury was a master of this, using his voice as an instrument- you guys absolutely nailed it too. I wish i could hear you do a full length version of that. Amazing talent dudes.. amazing..

While violin is already incredibly difficult, I've noticed that with basically any stringed instruments, strangers act really impressed if you play higher notes. I've mostly noticed this with The Dooo, but I noticed it in this video too when Rob played the one or two notes that were really high and their jaw dropped even though Rob was doing some really cool stuff lower on the neck.
@StepokTimkrivonog3 жыл бұрын
higher notes are much more noticeable, especially when piano is also playing at the same time

Tbf on violin the tuning and tonality of high notes are actually difficult.

@@charli216 Im not a violin player, but I've heard it before, it sounds like a screech that is really disturbing when it's done wrong, so I'm assuming it's really hars
@Funny_Chair_Man3 жыл бұрын
thats because higher notes are naturally more noticeable (as someone above already pointed out) and they normally come in at a point of the song where it's the only different, or moving part, and it stands out because its different from the original melody, intended to be heard above all as a "belting" sensation, like in singing, when someone sings a super high note, you know its intended to be a "big wow" of a performance, with occasional build-up to the note, and most the high notes he played were either built up to, or played loudly, with the natura reaponse being "alright this guys going all out on these notes"
@fattslapper18193 жыл бұрын
Yeee a lot of people listen to song just for the instrumentals, so they here a certain pitch and 🤯 even tho if play a key on the piano vs guitar, they’re the same notes lol
