It does now, I can bring in any samples in folders even into iMpc pro2, no need for a computer! Just use iOS files browser to find the iMpc folder and inside you will see all their samples - so, just copy+paste!

I love the iMPC , it works with caustic 3 , phase 84 , Pure synth , etc . There are so many instruments in those apps it’s a game changer , I create my own loops using outside apps by recording 2 or 4 bar of me playing them on a track in impc . I save it to auto copy pull it back up after I deleted the wave file recorded on the track . I sample myself and it sounds quality as a sound pack people download paying . I wish I could up load loops and sell them because my loops are original and smash the ones I see on auto copy .

Yea I find it very annoying to upload sounds on iPhone IMPC. I need to first import to iTunes on the computer. I love the Mpc but beatmaker makes it so easy.

Yes! As long as the sounds are wav files on your iPad you shouldn’t have any problems. But if the sounds are in a program, I think not.

What it do fam?! I love your content and even more so because you are a Houstonian like me! One thing you can also do to get the sounds on your iPad from the Mac is to use Airdrop. I am not sure if it's just a MacBook Pro thing or not. I am not versed in the desktop version of the Mac.

okay i am getting really stressed out by this program. after a lot of time figuring out i need an old macbook that shows that folders and that i need .wav files, i put in some whole songs, cause i want to use this programm as an soundboard. but all i get are "corrupted files" messages and this sucks. can anyone help me?

The way i import samples is to plug a usb stick or hard drive to my iPad. Then drag any folder i want to the files app and put my sounds in the mpc folder. They all show up in the app. Way less steps. And way easier! Similar to using a computer!

DubleO goto “On this IPad”, then “impc pro 2” , the “mpc pro”. I put folders of sounds in there. That’s it. Then in the iMPC app goto “TWEAK”, then click on the “SOUNDS” tab in the bottom right. All of your sounds will be there. I think you have to click on “ALL SOUNDS” to see all your folders.

kevin rutledge Yep. The app reads sounds from within that folder so as long as your kits and sounds are there, they work. Thanks. They’re gonna have to update the app so that it can read Dropbox and cloud drives because the storage on my phone is getting eaten up. 😑

you can use 3u Tools on win or mac, and navigate to the MPC Pro folder and just drag and drop full folders of samples.

I love beatmaker 3 but the sound engine is poor , but the IMPC PRO 2 sound engine is amazing so I really wanna learn this

FYI, both apps are using the iPad’s “sound engine” but if you introduce an audio interface into the mix then you will be changing your “sound engine” Tony. Just some food for though bro bro! I love both app tho. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏾👊🏾🙏🏾👊🏾

Check out this software called Kit Maker. It converts Maschine Kits into iMPC Pro 2 kits. It also will create kits from your sample folders on your hard drive.

Bm3 needs to update its ui and make it a bit more attractive on the eyes, because this app is about 3 major updates away from replacing it. This and Cubasis 3 make bm3 look so dull even though we know it’s technically the most powerful of the 3 for production
