Cool. It seems a lot more involved than other drums apps I've paid attention to but also much deeper. I seem to vaguely recall having some MPC software back in my PC days that came with the Akai keyboard I had then.

I forgot all about this. Had the iPhone version about 5 years ago but never did much with it. Sadly the iPad version is separate and costs £25, but I could be tempted.

Great video, Doug. I never saw this when it came out in 2017 but the app TBH is way over priced. Prism, Beathawk, BM3 all do about the same thing. Akai's MPC 3 for the desktop is still in Bete as of this comment. Hopefully Akai will release a version of MPC 3 cross platform soon. Looking forward to your take on that one.
