Would offsetting the kicks solve that funny kicks sound ?
@TheAudioBank4 жыл бұрын
Tokunbo Beatz Not sure. Sometimes they sound funny because the sample is cut harsh and you get a click but with all akai software products the sub frequencies do something odd and is very noticeable in 808s. Try it and let me know your experience.

This was awesome bredda. Very calm voice and you explain at very good pace. Mi like how you did that quick chop and mash up. Mi learned a lot . Mi have a question is their a redo button on IMPC2. I deleted something but want to put it back. I see the undo button but the REDO is not clear. And please do a TUTORIAL ON HOW TO UNDO. I was just trying to undo one thing and mistakingly un did the main piano 🎹 track mi did. This would really be informative. 👍🏾🇯🇲🇧🇷🤟🏾

Can you have separate bars on separate tracks for example 2bars of hats 4bars of kicks etc🤔
@TheAudioBank3 жыл бұрын
As of today, I believe the bars are not independent to tracks but tied to the length of the sequence. Hypothetically if you have a four bar sequence, the workaround would be, record to bars of hats, then copy and paste it or double it for that track.

How do you copy a sequence and edit without it making the same changes to the first sequence? I’d like to add a low pass filter to something I sampled to play behind the main sample. Every time I copy sequence a and it turns into sequence b and make changes to it both sequences end up being the same.

Hey Johnny as of late I am only available to answer questions from members of my website/discord. It’s $20/yr and it helps me help you and others with similar questions. I also offer lessons on the site and much more. www.theaudiobank.com

Every sequence work independently so if you edit it it will only affect that sequence .

Any automation in this software?
@TheAudioBank4 жыл бұрын
Great question! Yes. Once in record mode moving mixer parameters or flux link fx will record your touch input to the sequence.

Is this video part of a series or just a random tutorial. You clearly know how to use the app so there is plenty to learn from you. Thanks. Do you prefer this app to beatmaker 3? Just curious. I think they are both great apps and it's an each to his own thing. I find BM3 to be more deep. Aren't we lucky to actually have so many choices on iPad. Life is good. I think the hardest thing in producing is deciding what to do, like which sample and which effect, etc. Most beginners just do random things to get the hang of things. As they get better with the software , the challenge becomes getting the sounds they want, I mean the sounds that are in their head. I think a good series would be is on how to get what is in your imagination. Another beginner problem is nit knowing which plugins to use or they think that choosing effects is standard, like you always need a compressor on drums or a deeesser on vocals etc. Most beginners use certain effects by default. Knowing whether or not to use a plugin at all and which one to use is a hard thing to teach. I think you have an ear and might be good at that. Just throwing ideas at you.

I appreciate the feedback. I agree. I also saw the original comment lol. Hope you didn’t give my video the thumbs down. They delist people based on those. I will definitely do a plug-in video in the future. As far as right now I have a couple more overview videos left to finish. If you go into the “more info” section I have time stamps to take you to the section you need. But this is a general overview. The smaller straight to the point videos will be on my website and I will have a video announcement when I launch the full tutorial section. Thanks.

Also, I call it an intro if you are new to it and never used it before but they are for the most part complete overviews. My highest ranking video on this channel is a registration video with almost 15k views right now. Safe to safe if people have a hard time figuring out how to register products it’s helpful to go step by step to get them freshly aquatinted with the software they are trying to use. Outside of this channel I teach and cover these topics. I don’t currently have BM3 on my list of tasks to complete but possibly in the future.

The Audio Bank I only give thumbs down if a video is full of bull meaning if the content is terrible or not accurate at all. I don't know if you agree but there are quite a few youtubers who have no clue what they are talking about. The sad part is that a lot of them get fantastic comments because they come across as being knowledgeable. It is very easy to fool people. Your video is pretty good. You aren't trying to fool anyone. I would never give a video like this a thumbs down. I don't think thumbs down is a problem. The problem is if there are only thumbs down or mostly thumbs down. KZbin likes a lot of views and a lot of subscribers. A thumbs down is a view, so that's one more person who will see ads. That person not liking the video could easily end up making a purchase based on an ad they see while watching the video.

@@perrypelican9476 100% I appreciate the vibes. I have Beatmaker on the iPad but I feel like the UI isnt very user friendly. Garageband by far is the best, then Id say MPC but mostly because Im an MPC user, BM3 has alot of great features but needs a facelift in my opinion, kinda clunky looking, but hopefully they fix it in the future. Hope you sub and keep in touch. Thanks again.

I think its just hitting shift and undo if I’m not mistaken but dont hold me to it. I know thats what it is on the MPC.
