Can I use Splenda instead of sugar
@marcyinspired14423 жыл бұрын
I have never used artificial sweeteners before, but I believe you can use splenda. Recently, I tried swerve for the first time. It has zero calories and does not raise your blood sugar, but it's a natural sweetener made from root vegetables. Anyway, I made peanut butter chocolate bars with it and they were delicious. Just thought I'd throw that out there as another alternative.

Why is the lemon juice needed? Can it be omitted?
@marcyinspired14423 жыл бұрын
The lemon juice keeps the peaches from browning. It's used in most recipes that have fruit. And by putting in something acidic, it also brings out the sweetness. But you can omit it, if you prefer. Thanks for checking out this video. Hope this helps.

To make the absolute best peach cobbler, you need to wait for the peaches to fall off the tree. Then can them in a heavy syrup. After that, you can do sugared or sugar free cobbler, as the peaches will steal the show. This was my Grandmother's secret, and it never failed.
@marcyinspired14422 жыл бұрын
That sounds heavenly. I always get so frustrated when I want to buy fruit at the grocery store and it's not even close to being ripe. They pick it way too early and it's just not the same. How fortunate to have your own peach trees or to have access to fresh produce from a farmer's market!
