Oh my Dear Ones! Again you have filled my heart with joy!! I LOVE NOLA.........and I would trade my first born for that Muffuletta you just created! (I love exchanging home-made gifts 😅!). Can’t wait to get back to that wonder land of food and drink. My cousin has a condo in the French Quarter and I try to take advantage of him every chance I get. The last few months have been a challenge, with Covid lurking in every corner, flu and hysteria. Just recovering myself from a bout of lyrangytis: totally lost my voice for four days. My son visited New Orleans last summer and had his first Muffuletta from that street side, original location. Did you know that all they serve are the sandwiches? When you order they ask "whole or half?" That's it. They hand you your premade sandwich and you're off to yummy land.

Ummmm....guys, you almost lost me at "Muff", butt when I saw the "uletta" on the end it took me New Orleans in a heartbeat. Cheer up your both so depressed. So much chatter! The olives should have been minced I would have layered the meat and cheese two layers of each would be excellent. Swiss has great flavor and provolone would be my choices. Let’s hear it for the muffalatta sandwich!👍🏻✌🏻
