Can you just use the same cast iron pot, instead of the cast iron pan and mix in the lard?
@HowToFeedaLoonКүн бұрын
Hi there...if I'm understanding your question right...yes...you can melt the lard and then whisk that into the pot with the puréed beans. Does this answer your question? Sorry if that was confusing!!

Love you guy's!! Question....does the green pepperchino make it spicy? Sounds easy enough 😊 Loved your take on chicken marsala....I've never made it before & I'm making it this weekend for my husband....we made lasagna last weekend & shepherds pie (his choices) so this is my pick.....can't wait 😊😊😊
@HowToFeedaLoon3 күн бұрын
Hi there!! As the pepperchino peppers slow cook, they do lose most of their spiciness, and they are easy to remove once the roast is finished. Leave them on the side if you want a little spice (on the side). They really just impart a depth of flavor and not any heat. My sister can't stand anything that has any spice to it, and this is one of her favorite slow-cooker meals to make! We think you'll love it! (and your hubby!)...be sure to serve with mashed potatoes...the gravy is amazing!!!

Sounds amazing…my mouth was watering just watching lol! I had to rewind though cuz I saw corn flakes but then heard corn chips. I thought well, corn chips might be interesting too haha. I remember my mom using corn flakes to make chicken legs when I was a kid…especially if she was out of Shake n Bake (“and I helped”) 🤪 I use pork panko (pork rinds run through my Vitamix ) for breading things too.

This looks delicious. I don’t make homemade pasta but this filling is what I use in manicotti so I wanted to ask what the difference is between the 2.
@HowToFeedaLoon5 күн бұрын
Hi Amy, there's really not much difference. The main thing is the texture of the pasta (or tube). We feel that authentic cannelloni is thin, fresh egg pasta. Manicotti is usually a thicker 'tube' of pasta, sometimes even ridged. When we make manicotti, we use homemade crepes, and they are pretty yummy! No doubt yours is spectacular!!! xoxo
@amydavis79515 күн бұрын
@@HowToFeedaLoon that makes sense. Thank you for the explanation. Now that I’m eating low carb, I use the egglife wraps and roll them up like manicotti.
