Me and my team went to Mardi Gras nationals its was really fun and I just started cheering this year because I'm self taught and I was like I want to cheer I have my standing tuck I'm working on my full they are hard at Mardi Gras Nat Ionals I got a lot of bows ALOT OF BOWS. And that was my first ever comp!!!

Literally, last season when I went to Mardi gras nationals in nola(that's where I live) and we were the only team that hit w/o bobbles or anything and we got 4th so they score weird at these comps I guess..

OF COURSE! Our gym has a half year team so that you can dip your toes in without being overwhelmed (: but I think even a full year allstar program would be tons of fun! you don't need any experience at all, you just need to be willing to work hard and improve (: being a cheerleader is all about perspective and outlook (: go for it! good luck!!

hitting no deductions for a level 1 team is not that big of a deal... like what are you going to get a deduction on?

Tbh, I'm on lvl1 and lvl3, and there are tons of deductions you can get on lvl 1. Tumbling, stunts, jumps, and pyramid can all get deductions for wobbles, touch-outs and pyramid had to connect obviously.

Just like every other level you can get deducted on stunt, tumbling, etc. I'm on sr 1 and we work really hard to stick our tumbling and not drop stunts

I know sometimes when you're on a level higher than another one, their routines can seem easier, but most people on level one are people that just started cheer so it can be hard to hit

Don't bash on levels that are lower than yours.... Junior and Senior 1 can be difficult lol. Routines, jump sequences, tumbling passes, stunts and pyramids can be sooo hard now adays. Some people in level 4 or 5 don't even have back/ front walkovers and that basically what level 1 can do. And those are hard for lots of people!!! You're basically saying cheer is easy......Never say cheerleading is easy because it never is.

What's the differemce between a restricted level 5 team and a level 5 team? Like what does restricted mean?

restricted is only fulls. and level 5 is doubles :)

Restricted teams go to the summit and nonrestricted teams go to worlds (is a another difference)
