@@burtknighten4438 There's allways demand for drummers, and he is insane to be in high school. Finding a job in a band as a singer is harder because very few chose a leader they don't know. Also the bar keeps getting higher and higher for metal singers. Now a days you have to literally sound like a demon alligator during the breakdown or an angel during the chorus. Idk man, I also used to sing and I had a pretty accurate Max Cavalera, but that's not enough for todays standard.

I actually used yyz as one of the songs to audition with these guys! Most of us are HUGE rush fans 😂 but that was the main reason why we skipped out the vocals! No need to scare everyone LOL We also thought that the vocals would be very hard to cover well and didn't want to ruin the performance completely by doing botched vocals.....

Reminds me of when my friends and I played Slayer - Raining Blood as part of a music assessment where we had to set up the sound system and get all the levels right etc... We were planning on playing a different song and were just playing Raining Blood as a rehearsal and our teacher told us to play that instead 😂 it was awesome! This high school was very much a non-metal-friendly school but we actually got a standing ovation from them all (definitely did not expect that) keep killing it fellas!

I did some light touring in my younger days as the bass player for a couple of metal bands and I was always prepared to rip out Anesthesia when a guitarist inevitably had to change a broken string in the middle of a set. Always had that Boss HM-2 and a wah in my fx chain ready to go just in case and they sure as hell got plenty of use! Great job, hope all you guys keep kicking ass!

That was the original plan! The tall blonde on the right was gonna do vocals but in the days leading up to it he started to feel he was hurting his voice so we ending up only having vocals for one song in our set. Having no vocals also let us work on the instrumental aspect and really prefect it. Overall I think it was for the better......song is heavy without them.....some people don't like the screaming and the small chance that he botched the vocals it coulda ruined the song 😂
