Japanese quality all the way. Wish i had the money...They should have a dual clutch. It would improve the driving experience, at least on the Hybrid version.

+TheMegamsp Hybrid is with a CVT to make it as efficient, as possible. In the turbo automatic copes well enough.

+Marek Drives I test drove once the Yaris Hybrid and didn't like it because of the cvt. When you need power it starts to scream. Its efficient when you drive slow around town but when speed increases consumption rises. Its like that on every car but with cvt its worst. After i drove the hybrid i tested the Yaris 1.3 gasoline manual gear and it did achieve a better consumption for my type of driving. On Japan i think there is a Honda Hrv hybrid with dual clutch that is not available in other countries. I think it must be more engaging to drive than a cvt. Keep the good work. Oh and if you can please test the new Toyota Auris 1.2 turbo to see if it is a good option for those like me that don't need a diesel.

As I am an Asian, I would more likely to choose the Japanese car; however, I think the Lexus NX F-Sport is look younger than BMW X3 and GLC. So, I guess the NX is more for the younger people.

after many years of our german brands i bought a used RXHybrid which i prfer much over all the overstressed 4cyl version which Lexus now offer ! The V6Hybrid is the best powertrain in a Lexus, imo ! Its good in my RX and its worldclass in the GS450h !.....but Lexus did not sell them anymore to europe ! :-( BIG mistake !!!

Go drive both. Then they are not that far apart. The Porsche is way overrated, only has n snob factor, and the Macan is based on the old Q5. Not something to be proud of....

What about the Cadillac SRX ? (which will be replaced by a new model called CT-5 in a year or two). It's not only Germany and Japan out there. Matbe even the new Renault Espace is a worthy opponent.

Thats strange because the AWD version of the SRX is made also with European homologation with the great 3.6L V6 engine :)

ניר כהן You touched a very important point here: 3.6L V6. In most European countries it's either to expensive to tax or to fill up. Or both.

Marek, either way, this 3.6 is one of GM's best engines these days and I guess it's not going to be around for long and probably clear it's place to GM's 2.0 Turbo petrol engine. How ever, here in Israel petrol engines are more common and petrol prices went lower in the recent two years so people still by them here and the SRX is priced less than a Q5/X3/XC60/NX200t/Grand Cherokee and more like the the prices of X1/Q3/GLA.

ניר כהן Lucky you. We've had Cadillac here in Poland briefly, but it wasn't a big seller. Then GM decided to withdraw Chevrolet, and now they are probing the market to see, whether they could compete against the Germans with Cadillac. I just hope we won't end up with rebadged Opels ;)

Lexus generally fails on details.. all the black plastic buttons a la Toyota from the 80's. And that microwave clock they had in their car until just a few years ago... god. And this is coming from the technically most advanced country in the world.

I can't decide which angle makes this car look the worst, because it's ugly from every angle. That grill is hideous and gaudy, and the rear end looks like.. honestly I can't think of anything that ugly.
