Marella cruise last September for 7 nights that was our third cruise first time we had a balcony which was fabulous . Can’t wait to go on Marella’s last cruise ship looks so amazing xx

Well done guys in another great vlog. Very well explained. I think the concept of The Kitchen will be a great success and will prevent food waste and is more hygienic. I can well identify the problem with the traditional buffet, after putting varied food items on your plate, once you get it back to the table it doesn’t look very appealing 😂

Great video guys! I have a question - did you try the Greek food? What was it like? Also, do they have the traditional gyros going round on the spit?

Yes we did I had the chicken thigh, pitta, vegetable sewer with humus and a dressing which I cannot remember the name of. They did have the gyros meat that was spinning behind the counter. You can sort of see it in the footage but I didn’t take a close up. Thanks for watching

We felt it was the opposite. We thought there were more tables and chairs in the Kitchens compared to the other Explorer ships. We never struggled finding a table to sit at. Thanks for watching our videos 👍

I really love a Marella cruise booked Discovery 2 for a week around the med,I prefer the Discovery 2 over Voyager just for the atrium and the walking track around the whole ship.

It sounds like they're essentially trying to take on Virgin with this one - not sure how keen I am for them to move away from the traditional buffets. I'll be really interested to see how this develops over the next couple of years...
