For me, “The Wild Robot” has simply been the best family movie of 2024 so far. The migration scene perfectly captured the dual emotions of a parent somewhat reluctantly letting his child go off into the world but at the same time wishing for him to experience all the best that life has to offer.

I never thought I’d be crying to a movie. I never showed any major emotions, but only small feelings of surprise, and minor happiness. *But this one made me break.* This movie is just so emotionally well built. I’m obsessed with it. It might be my favorite movie now. I’ve also read the books, and I highly recommend the series to anyone who hasn’t read it yet. I also absolutely love this song. You guys did a phenomenal job. In the theatre, at the end of movie, I was quietly sobbing in my seat, trying to hide my face. But my tears were streaming down my face onto the floor. Thank you so much, Marren, for this song, and DreamWorks, for this unforgettable experience… 🩶🩶🩶🩶🔥 Also, here are all the times I cried. 1. When Fink broke down in front of everybody, once Roz said she was going to leave. 2. When Roz hurries up a cliff to see Brightbill leave the island. When she caught his feather, my heart just dropped, and I was starting to sob real fast. 3. When Roz activated the destroyed robot. She told it that she felt fine, although “She wasn’t made to feel anything.” 4. When Roz confessed to Brightbill about his past, I broke down a bit. 5. I have everything I need. Do I need to say more? Like, that was the most perfect climax!

I’ll admit, this song didn’t quite click for me the first time I heard it (in this very video, for those wondering). Hey, different tastes and all that. But, having just seen the movie, including the sequence where this song plays… yeah, it’s a brilliant part of an absolute masterpiece of filmmaking. Not sure to what extent one was made for the other, but they go together as well as an orphaned gosling and a wild robot.

Yes, the entire flight training montage is one best sequence of animation put on film. This song, Bill Night's Longneck motivating Roz, the brilliant animation had me rolling the tears.
@bennettbodnar55312 ай бұрын
@@tommyhawk2065 Omg, sameee! I cried through this whole sequence. There was something about this song, the animation, and what was happening in the movie plot-wise that really moved me, and I especially loved the role that Longneck played in this sequence. He was the first animal that actually recognized and commended Roz for all she had done for Brightbill, this 'runt' of a gosling that wasn't expected to live very long, and encouraged her to not give up on the "motherly tasks" that Pinktail had inadvertently instilled in her.

All the characters were likable (except for the ones we aren’t supposed to like) and it was so fun to watch. I love cute and wholesome movies and shows, so this one will definitely stick with me❤. The soundtrack wasn’t too poppy which I found so beautiful. Usually when that happens in what is supposed to be a cute moment, it ruins the vibe the movie was trying to convey. The harmony at 2:51 always makes me cry. The idea of a mom gives her son one last lift-up before he goes out and creates his own journey is just too much for me. I watched it 3 times, and the song hits harder by x99 ! The Wild Robot is THE FILM !!! (Also, I watched Inside Out 2 too. It's good, pretty well-made, but I already have the champion in my heart!) Yeah well Dreamworks isn’t the creator of The Wild Robot. Peter (forgot last name) is. He’s the author of the book series with three books. This is the first time there has ever been a Wild Robot movie, and this movie is based off of the first book. Brightbill isn’t really that much alike to Blu. (Brightbill is the gosling.) But, he could be similar in some ways, I guess.

@@Tupclutch I already knew his name was brightbill and btw Blu and Dreamworks are my comfort items so. I think I got a beautiful crossover.

@@Nathancom10 Hello. Good morning. My name is Brian López. I don't like movies. So, no, I am not going to watch The Wild Robot. That movie is going to make everybody cry. And that sound effect of a girl screaming in the second trailer for The Wild Robot still haunts my dreams.

Me as a full grown 26 year old man cried, not sobbed, more than 4 times in this movie. Almost everything about it is PERFECT. The animation, the story, the characters, you name it. The only issues in it with me is I felt two scenes felt a bit rushed, but 9.8/10 for this emotional masterpiece

Every amazing film needs a killer song and this is it. One of my top 5 animated films of all time and Maren Morris does this juggernaut of film justice.

We know that the best animation of 2024 is coming, I think a movie with a solid soundtrack and story is waiting for us.

Either this movie or Inside Out 2 would win Best Animated Feature but ya know given the Oscars are aired by ABC and ABC is owned by Disney we know what they’d give it to.

As a dad who became a dad and wasn't ready, this film perfectly captured all my emotions start to finish. From the uncertainty, to the instinctive protection, to the frustration and looking to other for advice, to not realizing the bumps and bruises you get along the way to see them succeed. And the how score moves to movie when the dialogue stops. God damn what a film. Every parent should watch just to reflect on how they supported their kids growing up. Even if it seemed like your parenting styles were weird to others lol
