This is one of the best adult performances if not the best of BWV 54, yet Bach is never adequately performed by adult trebles of either sex, only boys providentially having the purity of the vocal harmonic giving a true tone adults cannot as the richer adult harmonic development interferes.

@@ozielich I'm not talking about the beauty of Höffgen's voice but the physical harmonics of adult voices of either sex and young girls interfering musically compared to the purer harmonics of boys' voices.
