Saw a docu about highly talented kids a few minutes ago on YT. He met streisand with 18 and she protevted him. She was a talented kid, too. Forced by her mom. Joshs Burnout period reminds me of the preasure this kids has to stand for their career and I think, Josh is so a lucky man to get through this dark period. Now he has to prove nothing to anyone and can only sing and play what he loves :-)

Funny story! When I was in San Antonio to see Josh on tour for about the 4th or 5th time, I sat on the front row with some friends. Once the concert started, I moved further back to a row of unsold seats, thinking it wasn't a problem. But then comes Gestapo Usher Biotch to check my ticket stub. She escorted me to my seat. But you know what - that's okay - because Josh walked all the way over to the edge of the winged part of the stage and took hold of my hand while he sang. Be still my heart.
