I love the blue behind the photo and colour of the fruit and leaves. I think that just makes it! The pops of colour tie it all together. Great job, Barbie. 😊

Your persistence payed off Barbie. This collage turned out lovely. The stitching around the photo and the sentiment really added to the already pretty collage. I have often done a collage thinking I didn’t like it very much and days later I come back and realize it really is not that bad. I think things like how our day has gone or how we feel mentally and physically makes a difference in the artistic outcome. Have a great Memorial Day gf. 🥰

GF ...... omgosh, I couldn't agree more. Our mental and physical feelings on the day we are crafting (or anything we want to accomplish) plays a huge roll. 🤪 One thing I am, Pam ........ and that's persistent, sometimes to a fault. TF tuning in and sitting with me. I now know you'll be there for me during my darkest days 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 luv ya, gf 🌸🌿🧡

I love how this turned out, Barbie. Some collages are definitely more contrary to do than others but you did a wonderful job. Remember, nothing is going anywhere. It will still be there when you get to it. 😊❤

I agree, Susan ........ it's not going anywhere, and sometimes I wish it would go away (only certain things) but when you do come back to that little thing that's giving you trouble fresh eyes and ideas can turn it around. TFW, gf and I appreciate all you do for me. 🥰🥰🥰

End result is beautiful. We all struggle from time to time. Yes, walking away is the best thing that I can do when I get stuck. It feels so good when you come back and things just start to gel. I love how this came out. You are so talented my friend.

I love the pops of teal and green and was excited to see the black and white photo - at first, I wondered if it was a picture of Nelly and Ruth. 😊 I'm going to be a great grandma soon - we start early in my family. 🙃 Yesterday, at my granddaughter's baby shower, they had a really cool old black and white photo of the Daddy's great-grandfather in a beautiful burnished gold frame - he's the baby's namesake. Middle name we will be her dad's and granddad's middle name.

It was beautiful weather here and spent a bit of time outside and then inside making peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies to take to a friends house for desset after a nice little cookout. This came out so lovely! The bottom layer that came in the mail is beautiful, what a way to send out orders! I am late watching this so I'm not really struggling with you but I am struggling today to get back in the swing of things! I haven't been in my craft room for 5 days. I did finally get my Bingo challenge done, lol. I am like you & just have a really hard time starting back again after not creating for awhile. You have had a tough several months, though, with having to be away from your craft room for long periods of time. Give yourself grace to just have fun. It will come back to you!

I've been struggling all week as to what I should do for my bird collage, etc. I am so far behind still and I think that is making a negative mark in my old brain.
