With Bharadwaj on mridangam Jayant can be assured of a successful kutcheri. This is the second time I see a pullamkuzhal vidwan with tabla as the second pakkom; the first was with Kudamaloor Janardanan when I arranged a recital in my ancestral house in Perunnai, Central Travancore several years back for the Satabhishekom celebration of my eldest sister late Dr N[arayanakurup] Sumathykutty Amma.
