the idea of establishing entire new city/cities is right and it is going to work specifically in today's world where urbanization is at ever high rate. but who will establish these charter of new rules and as according to Romer third party is going to lookafter the charter. in countries like India and Pakistan who will be this third party? if it is government or organization within the society i dont think so that the coordination trap will break as the government etc is behind the economic evils. thus in developed societies it might work but in poor countries the third party might not be successful in establishing and implementing charter of new rules.

What you are explaining are modifications based on Solow's initial ideas. When you make improvements to something it is very insulting to say the person who made the first postulations failed unless you are totally departing from their initial model which in this case you are not. You would do well to just explain what improvements have been made.

Paul new idea of special economics zone comes from China under the leadership of Deng Xiao Peng. That zone is called Shenzhen! Hahaha. Also, your use ofthe example of Hong Kong is misleading. It is called colonialism, which was a failed model which caused tremendous suffering of the people.

if you have limited knowledge about something , you shouldnt comment at all. you are just misleading people into believing something that is not true. Romer never suggested some sort a neo-colonialism. You should study more about his suggestions before you start spewing your bullshit.
