I had to see this to believe it. One of the best moments of television history without question. Holy Christ. Cavett is rarely out of his league and Margot just came in like a wrecking ball. Holy cats. And goes right into the story about ice cubes without any filter at all. And then the camera kinda swings around and I realize she's sitting next to JaNIS JOPlin the whole dang time. The boom mic doesn't know which way to go!

Margot Kidder is an exceptional beauty and I hope that she is well from whatever troubles she has had. Loved her in the Brian DePalma movie, Sisters! Amazing to hear such unedited and candid talk. This looked like a really great show to have caught back when it aired. I'd like to arrange a playlist of the segments of this show in order to see it complete. Any help would be great and thank you for sharing this!

Last night, I watched a film on KZbin called "Someone Watching Me" which was not a bad film. Margot Kidder had a very small part in the film which was a shame as she was hilarious, her comic timing was spot on. Sad to hear she had so many struggles during her life. She was a very good actress

@nexusutube Well she did act for the CBC as a teenager for television playing a murderess in episode of "Moose Fever" aired March 1967. her birthdate is October 17, 1948. So I would say she has other credits to her name not listed before 1968 on IMDB.

Margot Kidder was lying about her age. Her 1st tv roles were in 68 and she was 20. I can understand a 30 something woman wanting people to think she is late 20s but why would a 22 year old want people to think shes 18.

nexusutube, The Hollywood film industry was built that way back then, your management, as was the case with Michael Jackson, when he was 11 years old, Berry Gordy said that he was 9 years old. Marilyn Monroe real name was Norma Jean Mortenson. Hollywood built, trained, and guided them in the direction they wanted them to go in.
