I’m 36 years old and I would watch Maria banford stand up when I was a kid. Just in complete awe of her unique fearlessness, a kind with reckless abandon.

Maria and Scott are national treasures and must be protected at all costs. Saw Maria in San Francisco a few years ago 😍

She’s cute. I have never seen her stand up. I’ll have to look it up. Does she have Parkinson’s?

Maria and Scott! More, more, more of them. So refreshing, her honesty and openness. Saw her stand up and believe she is THE best. I also saw Natasha and Moshe who killed as well. She is just so uniquely Maria. Unapologetically.

Hey Moshe, just so you know, women do not sweat as easily as men do. Its not because they arent working out as hard..its because of hormones. Women's estrogen levels make their bodies better at temperature regulation. Men sweat more, sooner and easier because of testosterone. I know this because I'm a trans guy so I literally remember being a woman and working out hard and I would have to run miles in order to break a sweat. Now Im a guy and I sweat like right away...I'm not neccessarily working harder. So keep that in mind dude
@HH-gv8mx2 ай бұрын
I’ve always been an avid runner, an athlete, would go for a 6 mile run and then take a spin class.. I didn’t sweat that much and my sweat never smelled . I used to attribute that to being very lean and in shape, and I drink a lot of water and eat clean. But now that I am Natasha‘s age in perimenopause, the sweat and heat and uncomfortableness comes at inopportune times. It’s not a good sweat. You just feel hot and sticky and disgusting. So now I have to force myself to go work out and break a sweat so that I don’t sweat when I’m sleeping.

@@HH-gv8mx Sauna is a good little secret for that! I just started using it while I take a long THC break. You sweat at night after the first few days off bc you're body is sweating out the thc, so the sauna works well to reduce the night sweating.
@ChoiceDesignsPro2 ай бұрын
@@HH-gv8mx Ya. That is also being caused by hormones in your body shifting. Hot flashes. Unfortunately you might have to deal with that for a few years. Another way to avoid night sweats could be to go in the sauna for a few minutes. I do that at the gym to sweat out the thc in my body when Im taking a weed break.

@@ChoiceDesignsPro son is an excellent idea! I would take a sauna over a cold plunge any day

My aunt and cousins' home was robbed at some point after my uncle passed and I believe the police told them it was a gang that checked obits and death notices to ensure people would not be at home. Then the family hired a bouncer to guard the home on the day of the funeral and it was a recurring joke throughout the otherwise really sad event (my uncle died young).

OH GOD I remember watching Maria's interview with the red rubber nose guy. It was SO uncomfortable, just this dude like mansplaining humour to MARIA BAMFORD for 20 minutes and telling stories about honestly kind of unprofessional stuff he's said to patients in a super pompous way?? And when Maria asked if he had ever dealt with people who were hospitalised he was like "no I like to focus on normal people :)" and Maria was like "normal?!?" and he tried to walk it back and be like "no I was talking about the normal distribution, you misunderstood" but as a research psychologist and statistician I feel a need to say the way he was claiming to use the word "normal" does not make any sense. You don't call people in the middle of a distribution "normal," you call distributions themselves normal (and a normal distribution includes the tails of the distribution!). I am almost certain he meant it in the messed up way and was just trying to weasel out of being called out. He's lucky Maria is a nice lady from Minnesota, I would have been so mean to him if I were in her position.
