Callas didn't just sing "I Puritani" within a six-day notice, she learned the part in six days, and that while performing in another opera in the evenings! She had previously learned the major arias, I believe, but had to learn the rest of the part. The most important thing about Callas was her immense talent, both as vocalist and actress. A lot of what is said in this video should be "taken with a grain of salt."
