Callas is the only person that can interprete Medea so vividly. the anger of a betrayed woman, the sweetnes of a mother, and the cold hand of a killer, in order to revenge her betrayal from Jason especially after what she went throughj to be with him. Absolutely electrifyng and unique. Bravo Maria!!! thank you for posting this

Beyond all praise - the audience goes completely crazy for good reason. And how Callas could return to planet earth after this ascent to the height of a woman’s wrath is impossible to imagine. Could she, could anyone there really leave the theater after this monstrous miracle, go home, and go to sleep? ❤

Медея - Каллас це той оперний театр, що має право на існування.Все інше не має права на таке імʼя.В оперному мистецтві справжні співаки-актори виходять на астральний рівень, де панує взаємодія між людськими Душами , що належать навіть не людині , а ТВОРЦЮ ВСЬОГО СУТНЬОГО. Сьогодні опера ледь жевріє, бо все людське є матеріальне . Опера трималася на людях освічених і заможних , які потребували духовної енергії. Сьогодні духовність з освіченостю у протистоянні, бо після зламу ведичного підходу до побудови людського суспільства ( так званого язичництва !) і виходу грошей з ролі обміну до ролі збагачення поступово падала і ступень важливості духовного життя. З відходом людства від многобож'я ,( а насправді від дій і опіки його іпостасіями ТВОРЦЯ ), людство прийшло до взаємодії через релігії , що є похідними від юдаїзму, до звернинь до Бога, що опікає тільки один народ обраний ним , а інші народи підпорядковані обраному. Людей залишили без духовного сполучення з ТВОРЦЕМ. А нема спросу на духовне життя , то нема спросу і на таке надбання людства, як Оперний театр !! Музичне життя зосередидося на інструментальній музиці, яку теж виведе з обігу музика штучного інтелекту. А далі ?! Далі треба повертатися до ТВОРЦЯ , бо ВІН є і початком ,і кінцем всього сутнього .

I believe it is. I have this performance, and it sounds the same. There are no words to describe the magnificence of Callas. She sends chills down my spine when I listen to this performance.
