I was in my early 20’s traveling around England when i first heard her voice. It was so angelic and appealing to me i actually knocked on the door of the house who was listening to her and asked for the name of the singer. The man who answered the door gladly educated me and gave me Carmen recording to listen to. I cherish it to this day

You could tell because the upper mid range is very colored, you can tell it right away. Plus I remember commentary on her biographical film, she wasn’t happy with his performance. Still amazing though
