It really is about the fear of what will happen to the people we leave behind. Hope you both are here for a very long time..

Your strength and resilience are truly inspiring. To face not just one, but three different types of cancer is unimaginable, yet here you are sharing your story with such courage. Thank you for raising awareness and reminding us all of the importance of perseverance and hope. Wishing you continued strength and healing!

You’ve been through a lot. Must have been hard to wake up and hear that it had spread. Glad you’ve found “your tribe”

Husband diagnosed at 56 with Nut Carcinoma, Squamous Lung Cancer. They won’t stage him but it’s probably a 3 not 4 since it is not in other organs just lymph nodes and the large primary tumor in the left lung. It’s lonely being a caregiver too.

Yes absolutely- being a caregiver takes such a toll and can feel so helpless. 💔

is NUT carcinoma a rare type?
@JJO-Writer2 ай бұрын
@@Ludwag Yes, very rare, IDK if it’s the most rare but it’s only a few hundred globally. There is no standard of treatment and no effective treatment for NMC, there are no guidelines, and current approaches to treatment are based on discussions amongst a few oncologists who each have had a single experience treating this disease. His is a lung cancer primary, squamous cell carcinoma with NUT mutation. We are just trying to adjust to the news and the new normal, he just found out this last month.

@@JJO-Writerthank you for commenting. I’m sorry you and your husband have had such a tough time. It’s one I haven’t heard of. I must look it up. ❤

@@JJO-Writer is the NUT mutation the driver of the cancer? Is it treated with the same standard of care as a lung cancer primary with squamous? So sorry you are all dealing with a rare presentation :(
