SHIELD Director can place counters on Shield supports that otherwise wouldn't take them, in case you get it out with Sky Destroyer or something early and don't have a counter-based support yet. This will let you move those counters in the future. It is also your ideal opener in the "wide" board opening, get it, Helicarrier, and some other card all on turn 1, if you're lucky enough to get it early! Multiple Field Agents can reduce the same ally’s consequential! Important for a double consequential+tough ally like Thor!

I agree with your conclusion on setup "low and wide > big support". A guaranteed helicarrier, + 1 or 2 cheap supports for turn 1 help gaining value faster in the turns 2 and 3. The more supports you have, the more counters you will add from her event, and the more flexibity you will get in both "counter usage" and "counter regrouping/managment", if that's makes sense. I really like what they did with the hero: very unique. But I also like where they went with the new shield cards. They are still kinda connected to the wave 5 shield archetype, but also vastly different. My real concern is the new "band together" card. I don't know, it feels overtune. With a simple triskelion in play, it is a double. With any team card "guardians otg / mighty avengers" it is a double. It feels like any "tribal ally swarm deck" from the old days; could run it. Band Together was risky, because it could be everything between 0 and 3, and 0 when you were the most vulnerable. The new Leadership resource card -- its upgraded version in a way -- , is always 1, but very easily 2, and can go up to 4 for no real commitment/investment. Maybe I'm underestimating the cost of exhausting 1 or 2 cheap avengers/x men allies, like forge or stinger. But then you got Beast, who can recur all that big money. I don't know, I wish/hope I'm wrong, but it feels like it can also outclass Power of Leadership in a tribal deck. That's how efficient it seems. But beware to intuitions, they can fool us. Very good video!

@@alberttaco3668 thank you!! All good points, and I’m very much looking forward to the counter management he brings Most team cards don’t have any traits except the “Team” trait, so won’t synergize with Organizational Support, but definitely some cheapo options out there to your point

@@journeyman2746 agh i can't read x.x hm. not sure i would use him now, tbh. i think the tax would add up too quickly, and i woudn't want to risk being forced into his response at the wrong time

i'm really not convinced of the value of med team of field agent here, because i don't think it is even desirable - especially in leadership - to have your allies stick to the table. you want to cycle through them and have them in the discard pile for when you draw Make The Call like, suppose a best case scenario where you've got out med team and command team and are supporting those cards with maria so they don't run out of gas and they are keeping an ally like Giant Man on the table that it a LOT of investment for a pretty mediocre impact, when instead you could have been cycling Beast or Nick for much less investment. and you've got Illiad in maria's deck anyway; why invest so heavily in keeping a middish ally alive when you can much more easily keep the illiad fueled up and it will do much more work for you?
