She is simply astonishing. I could listen to her endlessly. Her voice is perfection. I'm glad she wasn't totally made over as most contestants are. Her natural beauty, her voice, choice of songs all come together as one beautiful performance after another. We all know that the "winners" aren't always the biggest star to emerge from the show. I think that spot is reserved for Maria.

I had the opportunity of watching the show from the very beginning. The moment she started singing Lonely in the blind audition, I automatically said that she was the one. She was my favourite and I don't know why, but I had a feeling she would go far. I had never felt that. I just knew. She is so special and, as you said, I could listen to her all the time. In fact, I've been listening to her songs since I first saw her. I am really looking forward to hearing from her in a not so distant future. She is just incredibly talented

My younger brother died suddenly in February, he was only 33. He was my best friend. I interpret this song differently than the romantic context, clearly. Erlend was incredible tho! He had a better performance in the finals and his voice is just outstanding. I bet it was close between them two. I honestly think it was deseverd that Erlend won.

it isnt strange that your favorites dint win when it takes 2-3 hours for the voting system to give you back message hehe, i think it was overloaded that evening, i send 10 votes for Maria but it took actually 3 hours before i was responded haha, i wished Maria had won of the ones that was left, not that Erlend have a bad voice but wasnt just the most versatile,and feel he make every song sounds country like`` i feel Maria in easierly gets trough the core of emotions without have to showing of or overtry :-)
