*writing down Jim Shoe sandwich information on my list of must-try in Chicago. Thank you for being brave and going to these different restaurants in your city. This makes it so much easier for travelers who want to plan their trip without guessing the quality of the food. Nothing worse than having a great road trip visually but eating horrid, unseasoned, unfavorable expensive food. My hubby is trusting me to plan a fun experience with Chicago so food is highly important! Thanks again for sharing your tour. I'm a subscriber now.

Yes, more food with our friends Maria and Nabol! oh, look at the Pogiboys. Man, we miss pancakes with syrup!! Delish!!! And can you believe I can't find glazed donuts anywhere in Belgrade?? I want my donuts, regular ones, like the ones in Spain, just a simple glazed donut! 😁😁

Rosalie loves donuts 🍩 so she would love this place also. Glazed is my go to. You guys know all the spots. You guys need a interactive travel map for all these food places!! I would use it all the time. When it gets warmer we’ll need to recreate your adventures. When there is a line you know it’s good. I have been looking for a good sub place so this is high in my list.

I have never heard of Lou Mitchell’s before. I’ll have to check it out. PogiBoys are back!! I was just getting use to eating all the good foos in Chicago. But now we are work from home again. The serving there is pretty large. I didn’t start eating pancakes till I got to college.

Oh hey! Pogiboys in the house. Breakfast looks yummy. What was in the omelette? Chop Suey reminds us of the Chinese restaurant in Kingston, NY we went to. Love those real deal Chinese restaurants. The flavors are always better because like neighborhood Chinese food most times is tasteless or one dimensional. Oh man that caramel cake looks like it does have a good balance. Nice move on the lemon pepper. Good idea. Haha you really think that sub was a pound??

OH yes Lou Mitchell's, that was some good omelettes! Those donuts look great too! I love mine with glazed too. Steak wonton, egg rolls, the noodles, looks like the perfect Chinese meal 😋 oh man, those cakes are heavenly!! Jim Shoe's, the perfect sandwich for those late night snacks, looks great too! That fluffy omelette looks super good! Good tip about the portion 👍🏻 The donut looks humble but I bet it’s amazing! I love old fashioned glazed donuts 🍩 😍 Reminds me of krispy kreme but they are definitely look more homemade and bigger. I would totally dig the chocolate one 🤤

Please consider reviewing El Cortez restaurant in Country Club Hills. My wife and I eat there almost every Monday ($4 margaritas special). Many dishes that just aren’t seen in other Mexican restaurants.

i like apple fritters too; but they have stopped putting ACTUAL APPLES in them; you are lucky if you get a tiny bit of low quality pie filling mixed in, and that's all anyyone uses. Prove me wrong, because its been 30 years since I saw a real apple fritter, and doubt I will ever see one again. Real food is a thing of the past, people just make processed garbage. The hash needs an upgrade at mitchells, but there is also no good hash made anymore; again, just processed garbage. You want quality food. time travel, or grow it yourself; because they don't sell it to us poor folks anymore. Any oyster sauce has no place on steaks.
