Love all these thrown together. She's been coming in and out of that high note for years. REMEMBER PEEPS, she does a belting run right before hitting the 'lord knows' Awesome mix. I've lowered it -7 semitones to fit my Baritone voice.. "inside" "lord knows" "hold on" are killers, even for me... especially if you try the "tear them away" run from Tokyo. I cannot lower it anymore and try for the Tokyo climax.. no, no, no.

Kertis Edwards- Maybe you should focus on what you can do with the song, rather than what you cannot do with the song, as nobody can do her runs and belts like she can, so just do them with what you can do with your voice and make it your own. Vocal exercises will help you with control and help you with keeping your throat open. Too many people try and do the runs the same way as she does them.Using Mariah's belting style is exactly why people fail to sing her songs because that's her unique style, you just need to find your belting style and belting range and trust me, singing songs will become so much easier once you put yourself into it. Once you find your own sound and own unique way of singing, and applying it to belts, and runs, your high and low notes will be your high notes and your belts, and not high notes and belts from other singers like Mariah, when you cover their songs.

Jeon Goyoong her voice wasn’t as strong! daydreamriah had a very light and nimble belt quality which was probably why Mariah lowered the keys to a lot of songs because it was better for ease of vocal acrobatics.

Mariah never lips that word alone, and if Mariah really lipped she should have done her usual lipping gesture of covering her face but no. And if you think about it, it makes sense. Mariah attempted the E5 live but decided to dub the "Lord" with studio vocals to make it sound better - but not the "knows" part as it would not have probably fit with mariah's body gestures and her mouth when she sang that part
