Her sustained belt in this song is one of my favorite of all time. The lipped parts btw is the whistles/headvoice in most (possibly all but some seem more live) performances,the highest belt she does after the sustained note,and the belt she does before the final whistle. The rest is live/sung to a little background vocals at some parts. I think her performance on the X factor is the only one I’ve seen where people think the whistle may be live

Honestly of all Mariah videos/series,i’d love to see you make your way through “Mariah Carey the art of lip syncing”. It’s 10 parts and you could probably do 1 or 2 parts in one video. It could be a weekly thing maybe. I think you’d enjoy seeing how insane her lipping system is,and also hearing a lot of amazing live vocals during the series. It takes you through every era of her voice

Idk if this has been requested before, but you should check out Vision of Love live at BET Blueprint 2005 and then the one in Costa Mesa 2003 to compare. Both don't have copyright (they don't use the instrumental of the studio version and they are not official performances), and they are fully live.

The best performance of this song is at "The Pearl Theatre". Her voice was very rested, and it was almost as good as the studio version.

the f5 (the note right after her long sustained c5) where she goes ¨iiiiii wanna knowwww¨ is lipped btw. im pretty sure every time she performed his song she lipped that. the whistle im not sure if its live. but she did it live before at X-factor. the sustained c5 tho is live.
