Not only did he abuse her psychologically, but he made up charges to get her taken into a facility. The woman was going through normal anger/sadness of her life unraveling and all the shit he put her through, and he retaliates by putting her into a hospital and drugging her. Then he trashed her in the press (paid professionals to do it) for years after. Those drugs did a number on her too. Then he paid music insiders to give her new albums shitty reviews. I remember the bad reviews, almost EVERYONE had the same bad review for Glitter -- but Glitter was not a bad album at all. He wanted her to fail. He should be held accountable for ruining so many people, and the stuff he put her through. The press should also be held accountable for the underhanded shit they did and do. Mariah, Britney, Michael--so many artists had normal bad things happening in their life (divorce, trauma, whatever) and the press made it 1000 times worse by the harrassing, stalking, and trashing in the media all to sell their magazines/images. If they had been treated with some dignity and their privacy respected, perhaps their spiraling wouldn't have been as bad. I'm glad Mariah had her kids, and got her power back musically/artistically, and is able to live the rest of her life on her terms.
